Field Operations Coordinator - Contra Costa County Network

The Contra Costa Network Services Team is a No Wrong Door (NWD) approach to help formerly incarcerated individuals to successfully reintegrate into the communities where they resided before incarceration, leading to a reduced recidivism rate, increased public safety, and healthy family reunification. Network-specific services include supplementary transitional housing, specialized employment training in auto mechanics, and employment and education liaison services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting needs assessment of the formally incarcerated
  • Coordination and additional development of NWD locations & partner relationships
  • Point person for field communications between Probation and the field service providers
  • Referrals to community-based resources
  • Pre-release development of Individualized Case Plans
  • Community outreach
  • Triage engagement and service placement

Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


  • Valid California Driver’s License, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel regularly (mileage allowance provided);
  • Must undergo a background investigation and criminal records check to obtain clearance to work at criminal justice institutions. Final approval is contingent upon clearance by the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Department and Contra Costa probation Department.

  • Ability to conduct presentations
  • Ability to recruit volunteer mentors
  • Ability to manage communication to/from Probation and to/from Network Manager

Compensation: $55,000.00-$60,000.00
