Are you professional and able to be flexible?  Are you passionate about empowering mothers to achieve self sufficiency? Would you love to help mothers reunify with their children while addressing their struggles with addiction through Evidence Based Programming?  If so, HealthRIGHT 360 is currently looking to fill a Licensed Clinician position opening at our Women's Residential program in Tustin, CA!  The ideal candidate has 1-2 years experience working with clients with substance abuse issues and has a Ph.D. in Psychology or an M.A. in Social Work or related field. The ideal candidate will also have a minimum of  2 years experience providing family or clinical  services or parenting education and training with a culturally diverse population. In this position you will gain experience providing wrap around treatment services for addiction, mental health, parenting, life skills, and self sufficiency.  Alongside a highly trained and passionate integrated treatment team, you'll bring meaningful change to a vulnerable population.  Sound interesting?  Below you will find a more detailed description of some of the duties and requirements for this position.

Prototypes, at the beautiful Tustin Family Campus, is an 18 month residential treatment program serving 15 mothers with up to 32 children. All residents have open Child and Family Service Cases in the County of Orange. These mothers are working to reunify with their children while at the same time addressing their histories with addiction and mental health. Our treatment team works closely with Orange County Social Services, Orange County Mental Health and Family Court to ensure successful case plan completion and reunification. Clients receive substance abuse counseling and education, counseling and education in parenting and life skills as well as individual and group therapy for both mothers and children. The goal for our clients is that they graduate with custody of their children, affordable housing, and a steady income. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for covering shifts scheduled M-F. Hours may very.
  • Provide individual counseling with parents and children
  • Facilitate weekly group meetings presenting Evidence Based Programming addressing issues related to parenting skills, and other therapeutic topics as appropriate.
  • Develop the Parenting Skills Program Policies and Procedures. 
  • Implement and oversee the Parenting Skills Program
  • Ensure complete and accurate charting with timely documentation and progress notes.
  • Facilitate and oversee scheduled activities to promote Mother and Child bonding such as Mommy and Me groups, story-telling, music, and arts and crafts 
  • Participate in treatment team meetings ensuring all staff are current with the goals and needs of the assigned case load.  

Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Must have Ph.D. Psychology or MA in Social Work or Related Field (Prefer LMFT or LCSW)
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience providing family or clinical  services or parenting education and training with a culturally diverse population. 
  • Must have knowledge of substance abuse issues.
  • Must have ability to work in a community based setting
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Must have California Driver's License with proof of insurance
Compensation: $56,485.00
