If so, HealthRIGHT 360 is looking to fill a clinician III position for Project H.E.R.E. at our Asian American Recovery Services program in San Jose! The ideal candidate has experience providing counseling services to children/and or adolescents, familiarity with MediCal documentation, and fluent in Spanish. In this position you will receive extensive experience with co-occurring services, BBS hours towards licensure, and work with a fun multi-disciplinary team including clinicians, clinical supervisors, and psychiatrists. Project H.E.R.E. is AARS/HR360's Outpatient Mental Health program for Children and Adolescents.  This program is funded by the Santa Clara County Department of Behavioral Health Services - Mental Health Division.  Clients in this program range from age 6 - 19 years old.  Services include Assessment, Transformational Care Planning,, Crisis Management, Individual and Group Therapy, Pro-Social Recreational Activities, Family / Collateral Sessions, Medication Monitoring and Case Management.  Services are providing at clinic/agency site, in schools, in the community and in-home. Project H.E.R.E. is located in the San Jose Youth Department, and the working environment is one of support and fun!

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide treatment to children and adolescent clients participating in Outpatient Mental Health Services.
  • Timely and impeccable documentation of services provided using MediCal Documentation standards
  • Working within a team of clinicians, clinical supervisors, psychiatrists, and other support staff
  • Maintain positive working relationships with outside Providers, Community Based Organizations, and funders
  • Utilize evidence based practice and models
  • Adhere to State, County, Agency requirements relating to processes, documentation, productivity, quality improvement, and whole person care

Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Masters Degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field.
  • Must have a valid registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS), or awaiting BBS registration.
  • Experienced in providing mental health and/or co-occurring treatment
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records is a plus!
  • Ability to provide treatment in Spanish is a requirement
