Prototypes’ Outpatient Behavioral Health Centers provide comprehensive mental health and substance use services for people aged birth through older adulthood.
Prototypes’ Outpatient Behavioral Health Centers provide comprehensive mental health and substance use services for people aged birth through older adulthood. Adult services range from prevention and early intervention to intensive services for those with more serious or chronic conditions. Staff provides services at both Prototypes clinics and within the community. These can include individual, group, and family therapy, as well as psychiatric treatment, medication management and medication-assisted therapies, case management, and coordination with primary care providers.
At Prototypes we also offer a variety of services for children aged birth through adolescence. Our Family Wellness Centers offers extensive prevention, early intervention, and treatment services for children ages birth through adolescence. Our Family Wellness Center services are designed to strengthen families, foster healthy parenting, and support children with histories of trauma. Like our services for adults, our Family Wellness Center provides individual, group, and family therapy, as well as psychiatric treatment, medication management, case management, and coordination with primary care providers.
Outpatient and intensive outpatient programs are available as well as services designed specifically for pregnant and parenting mothers, for parents who have an open case with child protective services, and for adults in the criminal or family court systems. All our staff members are specially trained to assist clients with these unique issues.

Enrollment in Los Angeles County MediCal or MyHealthLA – application assistance available at intake.
