At our core, HealthRIGHT 360 is a health justice organization, founded and operating every day because we fervently believe that healthcare is a right, not a privilege. We stand in open opposition to racial violence, police brutality, socioeconomic inequity, border walls, Muslim bans, children in cages, the erosion of the rights of Transgender people, the rollback of reproductive freedom, voter suppression, and people who debase this moment by stating “all lives matter.”
We believe that silence = consent, and we are speaking out because we do not consent to a society where driving, jogging, walking, sleeping in your own bed, buying Skittles, or bird watching while Black is life-threatening.
Black Lives Matter. We say aloud the names of Ahmaud Arbery and George Floyd and Breonna Taylor, and we hold in our hearts the legions of others who were killed over the 400+ years of white supremacy and colonialism in this country.
We believe in the power of the people, the power of peaceful protest and civil disobedience, and we remain committed to voter registration, voter education, voter engagement, and voter turnout.
