Haight Ashbury Medical Clinics offer primary care, medication assisted treatment, and mental health services guided by the principle that “Healthcare is a Right, Not a Privilege.”
History
When Dr. David Smith opened Haight Ashbury Free Clinics in 1967, it was the first nonsectarian free medical clinic in the United States. Over 400 patients were seen in its first week of operation, launching decades of innovation for delivering primary healthcare services to those who can least afford them.
Clinic Hours
Please note that this site is temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. All services are being provided at the Integrated Care Center, 1563 Mission Street at this time.
Monday through Friday, 8:40 AM – 12 PM and 1 PM – 4:45 PM
Closed for lunch 12:00 PM—1:00 PM

Notice to Patients Regarding HR360’s Sliding Fee Discount Program
HR360 provides a Sliding Fee Discount Program to all eligible patients. Eligibility is based on income and family size only. You may be eligible for HR360’s Sliding Fee Discount Program, please inquire with the reception/front desk staff for additional information and an application form or call us at 800-200-7181.
