San Francisco, CA February 25, 2015 — HealthRIGHT 360 will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for its new five-story, 50,000 square foot, integrated healthcare center, at 11 a.m. on Thursday February 26, 2015.
The adaptive reuse project will transform the 1912 building into a new healthcare center for the nonprofit organization, providing primary medical care, pharmacy, dental clinic, mental health services, substance use disorder treatment, and resources for employment, education, and housing assistance, all under one roof. Construction is scheduled to begin March 2015, with a December 2016 completion date.
“This location is accessible to the communities we serve in the heart of San Francisco, and we look forward to creating a modern resource for the present and future needs of our clients and the community,” said HealthRIGHT 360 CEO Vitka Eisen.
The Honorable Mayor Edwin Lee will share the podium and the ceremonial duties with Dr. Eisen, as well as Public Health Director, Barbara Garcia and representatives from Kaiser Permanente, Bank of America, and Ramsell Corporation. Architects HDR Inc., and construction firm Hathaway Dinwiddie will be on hand for a tour of the building in its pre-construction state.
The ceremony will be held at 1563 Mission Street, the site where the new center is located — across the street from the Goodwill Building at South Van Ness and Mission.
