What you will learn
Internships are clinical placements, coordinated with our partner schools to help students transition their classroom learning into professional practice. Interns receive supervision and collaboration with the school program requirements to ensure learning objectives are met. Based on program assignment and the student’s discipline, interns can expect to participate in group and individual counseling, assessments, clinical team meetings, crisis intervention, and general counseling tasks related to the specific treatment environment.
Who can be an intern
HealthRIGHT 360 hosts interns at program locations across the state of California. Students enrolled in substance abuse counseling programs, graduate level mental health programs such as MSW, MFT, PCC, and Psy D programs can complete their practicum requirements at a HealthRIGHT 360 program.
Eligible intern candidates will be concurrently enrolled in a practicum or work experience course. Internship opportunities are based on capacity and staffing at our various programs.
If you are interested in applying for an internship, please send an email with your resume and a cover letter.
