SF Director of Health Barbara Garcia and Kisai Henriquez Also Recognized
On Thursday, October 9, San Francisco District Attorney George Gascón honored HealthRIGHT 360 VP of Programs Wayne Garcia for his leadership and service to San Francisco. Also honored at the event to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month were SF Director of Health Barbara Garcia and Kisai Henriquez, who was presented a Youth Empowerment Award.
District Attorney Gascón introduced Mr. Garcia as “a wonderful role model for us all to look up to,” and applauded not only Mr. Garcia’s decades of service to the community, but the positive impact on San Francisco that HealthRIGHT 360 has had as an organization. In his remarks after accepting the Community Wellness Award, Mr. Garcia shared his experience working with thousands of men and women who are seeking to improve their lives, emphasizing that “I believe in second chances.”
